Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to text block and a few page margins. A few grubby margin marks. All plates present.

Limited edition of 500 copies. 20 splendid tipped-in colour plates, reminiscent of Charles Robinson. Each plate has a captioned tissue guard. 267 pages, top edge gilt and others untrimmed. Full vellum binding with gilt titles and decoration. Large, heavy format. SIGNED by Wilcox and Tennant to limitation page, this is copy no. 178. Cover edges and spine are just a little grubby. Silk ties are missing. Name and date in ink to front endpaper. Untrimmed page edges are dusty and there is some very light fingering otherwise contents are clean. 1 plate has a very light crease to a lower corner, all others present and fine condition.
