Green/white decorated endpapers. 133pp. cr 4to. Spine and corners bumped and a little worn. Gilt on the spine is dulled. Light scuffing to rear board. Writing in pencil to top of front pastedown. Rear endpaper has horizontal crease. Foxing throughout otherwise contents generally clean. Plates are bright.

Foxing and light fingering to contents, light pink stain to inner margin of last plate (affecting the illustration slightly). A very desirable copy of a scarce Wain title. This copy would make a wonderful gift.
