Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Front joint (between endpaper and half-title) is cracked. Some hinges pulled. Foxing to textblock else contents clean.

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Rear cover scuffed. Endpapers are browned. Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Rear joint is broken but the binding is still holding (by glue?). Some hinges cracked. Foxing else contents clean.

A couple of small marks to covers. Some foxing to endpapers, contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with a little loss at top and bottom of spine. Rear panel is very grubby, spine is darkened. Clear cover has been taped to inside of dustwrapper.
