Painting contest has been partially completed with crayon. 3-4" tear to first story page. A few marks to first few pages, else contents are generally very good; illustrations are nice and bright. A few margin marks. Foxing and browning to outer page edges. A reading copy.

Small dated inscription to prelims. One plate detached and has large corner crease. Creasing to title page.
