Yellow cloth. Black titles and vignettes. B/w text illustations. 222 pages. New and Cheaper Edition. With an introduction by Walter de la Mare. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Spine discoloured. Booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Foxing to endpapers. A couple of page corners are creased. Price-cut wrapper is edge chipped and has most of the spine missing and old tape stuck to inside edges (glue has browned).

Foxing, mainly to prelims and text block. Grubby mark to text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with a few small tears. Unevenly browned and foxed, very foxed on verso.

Oliver named the small white bear given to him by his Gran Mr. Huffy-Puffy because when his limbs were moved they made a whirry breathy noise. Maroon cloth boards with white titles to the spine and a white bear vignette to the front board. Colour frontis. Two tone and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners are bumped. Small dent to top of front board. Bottom board edges are a little rubbed. Boards generally a bit grubby. A few grubby marks and foxspots but contents generally clean.

Spine and corners bumped, some fading to top of spine. Light fingering to page edges. Dustwrapper is very worn and torn with substantial loss to spine and to top of rear panel. What remains of wrapper is in two pieces (split at rear spine fold).
