Red cloth, gilt title to spine, gilt vignettes and borders. 46 b/w illustrations. All edges gilt. Spine is faded, with a little chipping to cloth at top and tail. A little cracking to joints. Gilt still bright. Wrapper is browned, with some edge-tears and chips; a bit of loss to spine and corners. Creasing next to spine down front panel.
