Splendour Books series (no. 2). Large format. White pictorial boards. Colour illustrations throughout. Tales retold by Goulden. Cover edges are browned. The spine is split at top and tail. Contents are lightly edge browned. Clear dustwrapper is a little too small for the book and has a small piece missing to top of spine.

Foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge chipped and slightly grubby with felt-tip pen marks to rtitles on rear panel.
