Blue pictorial cloth. Pyramid Edition. Colour frontis. 6 b/w illustrations and 2 maps. 255 pages. Spine and corners bumped, cover edges slightly rubbed. Small dent to top edge of front cover. Spine slightly darkened, some light marking to spine and rear cover. Free front-endpaper has been removed. Foxing/spotting to contents.

Pyramid edition. Blue cloth with vignette of bi-plane, palm trees and pyramids to front. 6 b/w illustrations. 256 pages. Colour frontis. Frontis is MISSING. Spine and corners bumped, covers grubby and spine slightly darkened. Prize plate to front pastedown. Hinges pulled and rear joint is cracked showing webbing but binding is still tight. A couple of pages are part detached with slightly ragged edges. One page has lower margin torn off. Foxing and fingermarks to contents.

Larger format. Blue cloth with gilt titles to spines; gilt borders and decorations around motif to front cover. 3rd Volume Contains the Maps. Inscriptions in ink to front endpapers. Foxing to outer page edges and margins. Wrapper to volume I is MISSING it's rear flap and panel. All other wrappers also have edge-chipping and creasing; Maps volume has 1" loss to top of spine.
