B/w illustrations. Large print. Edges rubbed, corner worn. Creasing to front board. 2" tear to paper covering on rear cover. Foxing mainly to endpapers and prelims.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Cream cloth, large pictorial onlay to spine and front board, front board shows boy cooking over an open fire whilst girl is passing sticks for fire. First story is 'The Griffins' by Florence Harrison. Colour frontis shows 'The Brownie Gets His Cream'. Colour & b/w illustrations. Boards clean, worn at corners. Name in ink to front pastedown. A few minor foxspots and light marks to margins. Colour plate "She bore away from the danger" has been neatly trimmed away on bottom margin (about an inch missing) but still bears the title of the plate and has a few small closed tears to vertical edge. Pictorial wrapper has neat inscription in ink to front panel, is edge-worn and has loss at edges. Overall, still a decent copy.

Yellow and blue cloth with vignettes to spine and front cover. Colour frontis and 4 b/w plates. 288 pages. Covers are worn and grubby. Prize plate to front pastedown partially torn out. Frontis plate has been badly torn and now has tape repairs on vesro and a small hole to centre. Pencil scribbles erased from title-page. One plate missing and one has large section torn off (and missing) from lower corner. Contents foxed and fingered.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Gold cloth, red title and vignette to spine and red vignette to front cover. Colour frontis plate plus 6 b/w illustrations. 256 pages. Spine bumped and slightly darkened. Light foxing else contents clean. Later dustwrapper (lists a Dimsie book published in 1942 and is a few mm too short for the book!) is price-cut with a few small tears at edges, minimal loss to base of spine. Wrapper is also just a little grubby.

Small splash marks to margins of pages 90 & 91, contents are well fingered with light foxing. A decent copy of a very early reprint.
