Almost very good condition in a fair dustwrapper.
Blue cloth spine. Red pictorial boards. Charming colour illustrations. Top and tail of spine faded, corners worn. Covers bright and clean. Name in ink to front endpaper. One page detached and another part detached. Some light grubby marks to contents and a couple of margin tears. Pictorial wrapper is torn with loss mainly to spine and corners and a large closed tear to rear. Overall a bright copy of the first edition, sounds much worse than it looks!
