Some light foxing throughout. Spine slightly bumped and browned. Dustwrapper has had something spilt on the rear panel (covering 99% of the panel) which has gone through to the rear cover and spine of the book.

Some fold out maps. B/w photos. Volume I is third impression 1954, Volume II & III are first editions 1954.Volume I has small white mark to front board, small patch of fading from sunlight to spine in same place there is a hole to spine of dustwrapper. Light browning and foxing to text blocks and endpapers. Contents are generally clean. Binding is tight. Blue dustwrappers are a little edge-worn with a few small closed tears, spines are faded and worn, a little browned.

Set of 4 volumes - "Chicken Soup With Rice", "Pierre", "One Was Johnny" and "Alligators All Around". Pink cloth, brown titles and vignettes. Colour illustrations. Approx 30 pages to each volume. Small books being, 3.5 x 2.5". Contained in a pictorial slip-case. Books are fine. Wrappers are a little browned and the spine of One Was Johnny is rubbed. Wrapper of Chicken Soup has the small off-white band to base of spine. Slipcase is just a little rubbed at corners.
