A Volume of Pictures & Stories for Little Folk. Edited by L'Estrange. Blue cloth spine is untitled. Pictorial paper front board shows older child reading a book to young child sat on her lap and two young girls at her feet with cats around. 6 Chromolithographs and many b/w illustrations. Some surface paper loss to lower front corner of covers, edges rubbed, corners worn. Boards scuffed and marked. Front endpaper missing. Joints pulled. Small closed tear and slight loss to lower corner of half-title page. Page-edge browning. A few marks to contents but generally a nice copy with all plates present.

Endpapers lightly browned. A few light foxspots to contents otherwise clean. Dustwrapper is just a little bit grubby and has a 5cm closed tear to top of spine edge on front panel (for some reason the wrapper appears to be 0.5cm too short for the book!).
