Volume 76. Green pictorial cloth. Gilt titles. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. First story is 'Penelope - Poet' by Dorothea Moore. 10" x 7" Spine and corners bumped and a little worn. A few light marks to rear board. Both joints cracked. Title page and prelims missing. Inscription to verso of frontis. Colouring to a few b/w illustrations. Biro has been used to outline some smaller illustrations. Biro drawing on reverse of one illustration which does affect a small part of text. Small hole to one colour plate. Some foxing and grubby margin marks.

Large format. Green cloth spine, pictorial front board. 2 colour plates by Lucie Attwell, B/w text illustrations by various artists. First story is "The Sick Doll's Diary". 9.75" x 7". Spine bumped and rubbed. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Scratch marks to front board. Rear board rubbed and a bit grubby. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis which has a small margin tear. light browning to endpapers. A little foxing and some fingering. Colouring to one full page illustration and another has a small amount of colouring.

First story is "The Brown Man". 128 pages. Covers are edge worn. Spine is bumped and rubbed. Staining/browning to rear cover. Name in ink and a mark to top edge of front pastedown. Page browning to contents. Some light fingermarks to page margins.

Name in ink to top margin of title-page. Contents are generally clean.

Father Tuck's "Golden Gift" series. Spine bumped. Wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover slightly grubby. Name and date in pencil and small red marks with small patches of surface paper damage to front pastedown. Outside edge of front endpaper and frontis creased and nicked. A couple of hinges cracked. Endpapers and contents browned with a couple of marks.

Both joints cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges also cracked. Browning to pages. Grubby marks to margins, including to some plates.

Colour and two tone illustrations. Spine bumped and a little worn with a closed tear about half way down. Corners are bumped and very worn. Board edges are rubbed. Small patch of surface paper damage to rear board which is grubby and marked. Some scratch marks to covers. Rear joint beginning to crack. Some hinges are cracked. Light browning to endpapers. Erased pencil writing to front endpaper. Some foxing mainly to prelims and page edges. A few light marks otherwise contents are generally clean.
