Red cloth spine. Cream pictorial boards. Pictorial endpapers. Colour and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Spine is a little faded. Couple of deep scratches to front board. Light marks to rear board. Board edges a little scuffed. Name plate to front pastedown. Endpapers browned. Rear endpaper torn by margin with some browned taped mending a couple of tears. Both joints badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges cracked. Browned tape to hinge of several pages including frontis and title page. One colour plate is creased. Some fingering and page browning otherwise contents are generally clean.

All colour photos are present but most are partially detached, one is detached. Text pages are very good.
