Black cloth spine. Red boards. Colour illustrations. Spine is bumped and little browned. Corners are bumped and worn. Edges of rear cover browned. Front cover a little grubby with rubbed edges. Name in ink to belongs to box with inscription in ink underneath. Couple of hinges cracked. Faint tracing of 'Flo' to top of one page. Light marks to a few pages otherwise contents are generally clean.

Grubby mark to text block. Belongs to box completed and partially erased. Colouring to helter-skelter on title page. Grubby fingermarks to a few lower margins but rest of contents clean.

Covers have some scuffing causing light patches, darkening to some edges. Completed bookplate to front endpaper. A few hinges cracked, some showing webbing beneath. Light browing to endpapers. Contents very good, just an odd mark. All colour plates present, two are partially detached.

Delightful and amusing colour plates plus a few b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. A few light marks to covers. Browning to endpapers. Small piece missing from edge of rear pastedown and light stain to top corner. Ink inscription to verso of frontis. A couple of corner tips creased. A few closed margin tears with no loss. Occasional fox spots and light margin marks but overall a decent copy with contents clean and bright.

A few small marks to covers. Light lines to onlay (only visible at certain angles). Front cover ever so slightly bowed. Pencil inscription to front endpaper, small bookseller's ink stamp to front pastedown. Half-title page and last text page very browned. Foxing, mainly to endpapers and page edges. Brown spots affect lower margins on a few pages including one plate. Dustwrapper has loss, mainly from top of spine and lower corner of front panel. Also has a few small tears and is grubby.
