A book of old favourites with new illustrations! Red cloth covers with orange vignettes and black titles and decorations. 8 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. 286 pages. 8.5 x 5.5". Spine and corners bumped. Some browning to base of spine. Endpapers browned, creases to front free-endpaper. 'M13' stamped to rear pastedown. Some foxing to textblock. Large but neat inscription in ink to front fly-leaf. Price-cut wrapper is grubby and worn to spine and corners with loss at base of spine.

Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Father Christmas had a fit of the blues because no-one had ever filled a stocking for him... along comes Bobby Bluegum the koala who promised to do the job for him and promised the old man a Happy Christmas into the bargain. Cream boards, red title and vignette to front cover. 45 pages, each with a colour illustration above or below the text. Spine and corners bumped, spine worn. A few light marks to covers. Front joint is cracked. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Foxing to endpapers. Light finger-creases to page margins. Price-cut dustwrapper is grubby and edge worn, loss to top of spine. Title on rear panel of wrapper (Sweet Home) has been crossed out.

Pale page browning to endpapers and very slight evidence of removal of a label to front free-endpaper. A few small foxspots to textblock. Price-cut wrapper is slightly foxed and slightly edge rubbed.

Very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
One of the most popular poems in that most popular book 'When We Were Young' is 'The King's Breakfast,' here is has been isolated with music written especially for it. Also contains 'Feed-my-Cow' set to music. Music by Fraser-Simpson. Cloth spine, pink pictorial boards. B/w illustrations. VI and 17 pages. A few minor foxspots to boards. Endpapers browned. Joints starting to crack but the binding is still tight. A few marks to contents but generally clean. Pink pictorial dustwrapper has a large piece missing from lower front panel and is edge-worn with a few closed tears (some of which have been repaired with clear tape to verso) and small chips, a little grubby.
