An annual for young folks. Large format. Blue cloth spine. Pictorial front board showing a boy and girl fishing. Colour frontis, b/w illustrations throughout. First story is "The Little Browns of Hollow Glen" by Mrs. L. Shorey. Spine bumped and worn with tiny splits to top and bottom. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Some small patches of surface paper damage to rear cover. Front cover is grubby. Front joint and some hinges cracked. Name written on front endpaper. Browning to endpapers. Foxing to some pages plus brown marks to several pages where something has possibly been pressed into them.

Front cover shows Rupert with a shopping list in his hand and a basket full of shopping in his other hand. Annual No. 72. ISBN: 9781405231015. NOT price-cut or inscribed. A nice, bright copy with light crinkling to top page edges throughout (no staining).

Red cloth spine with black titles and vignette, pictorial front cover shows boy tying skates on girl. Illustrated endpapers. Colour and b/w illustrations. 192 pages. Spine bumped, worn and slightly darkened. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover grubby. Rear joint just starting to crack. Ink inscription in belongs to box. Light foxing and a few marks to contents but most pages are clean.

First story is "The Hole In The Road" by Madeline Barnes. Spine bumped. Corners and cover edges are bumped and worn. Covers slightly grubby with light scratches to front cover. Both joints and a couple of hinges starting to crack. A couple of margin tears. Puzzle partially completed. Some foxing and browning. Contents generally clean. All colour illustrations present.

Spine bumped and worn with nicks to cloth at ends, also darkened. Wear to corners and cover edges. Some light scratches and foxing to covers. Both joints and a few hinges cracked. Ink inscription, dated 1938, to verso of frontis. Just an odd mark/fox spot to contents. One colour plate has been stuck into place with clear tape, now yellowed.

Front joint badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges pulled. Dated inscription to front endpaper. Page 17/18 is detached from book. Browning to endpapers. A few small marks otherwise contents generally clean.

A few light marks to rear board. Both joints cracked. Title page and prelims missing. Inscription to verso of frontis. Colouring to a few b/w illustrations. Biro has been used to outline some smaller illustrations. Biro drawing on reverse of one illustration which does affect a small part of text. Small hole to one colour plate. Some foxing and grubby margin marks.

Front joint cracked at top. Endpapers browned. Name and address in ink to verso of front endpaper. Ink tracing of picture beneath on tissue guard for frontis. 3 plates are MISSING. Foxing and some grubby margin marks.
