Includes "National Bands" - a speech by Rudyard Kipling, delivered at the Mansion House on Jan 27 1915.

Oblong format. Pink pictorial boards. Delightful colour and b/w illustrations. Spine slightly bumped, some very slight fading to cover edges. A few large but light foxspots to contents. Light musty smell to contents. Dustwrapper is price-cut by publisher with 'new' price sticker above and is just a little grubby.

Front joint split at top and bottom 2". Some hinges cracked/pulled causing contents to be a little loose.
