Cloth spine faded but title still bold. Browning to contents. Bookplate to front pastedown. Inscription in ink dated 1923 to free front endpaper. Plate facing page 56 is detached. Colouring, and pencil scribbles to some b/w illustrations. Hinges pulled, binding is worn but holding. Musty odour present.

Colouring to the Rupert illustration on front cover. Staples rusty. The tracing pages have been used and there is colouring to two of the illustrations.
