Inscription in ink to half -title page which is a marked by transfer of colour from pastedown. Rear joint and several hinges cracked. A few foxspots and some grubby margin marks.

Small booksellers label to rear pastedown. Foxing to endpapers, prelims and page edges. Book leans a little to one side. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears and areas of loss to top and bottom of spine and top of foprnt pane. Wrapper is grubby.
