Prize plate to front pastedown partially removed. Heavy foxing. Joint between frontis and title-page is cracked showing stitching/webbing beneath.

Large format. Cloth spine. Front cover shows a young woman driving with a dog in the passenger seat. First story is 'Great-Great-Grandmother's Christmas' by Moore. Colour plates and line drawings. Spine is faded, browned and has split to base; some chipping. Scuffing marks to covers. Bumping and wear to corners. Title page is MISSING! A few hinges are pulled. Browning to outer page edges and some page margins, which also have a few small tears. A reading copy.

Spine bumped and rubbed with small splits to top and bottom. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Covers grubby and marked. Front joint cracked and mended with tape. Frontis detached. Slight colouring to one plate. Pencil scribble to rear endpapers and some other pages. Red pen and pencil scribble to verso of one plate. A little foxing and some fingering to page margins.

Couple of tiny patches of surface paper damage to front cover, rear cover grubby and stained to edge with surface paper missing from lower inside corner. Name and address in pencil to verso of frontis. Marks to contents, mostly to margins.

Volume 76. Green pictorial cloth. Gilt titles. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. First story is 'Penelope - Poet' by Dorothea Moore. 10" x 7" Spine and corners bumped and a little worn. A few light marks to rear board. Both joints cracked. Title page and prelims missing. Inscription to verso of frontis. Colouring to a few b/w illustrations. Biro has been used to outline some smaller illustrations. Biro drawing on reverse of one illustration which does affect a small part of text. Small hole to one colour plate. Some foxing and grubby margin marks.

Colour plates, two-tone and b/w text illustrations. Spine bumped with a few small, light marks. Wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover slightly grubby. Paper covering rear joint split for 1" at top and bottom. Nick to outside edge of front endpaper. Dated ink inscription to verso of frontis. A couple of hinges cracked. Brown mark, mostly to inner margins of two pages, one of which is a two-tone illustration page. A few fox spots and fingermarks but generally clean otherwise.
