Preface is entitled 'Poppy Heads and Dandelion Clocks'. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Cover edges worn. Lower edges spine and covers are browned. Endpapers browned. Some light fingering to page edges else contents clean.

Red pictorial cloth with gilt titles and flower vignette to spine and gilt titles and vignette of a girl skipping to front. 6 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 1st item is a poem - Goodbye. One b/w plate by Wain entitled 'The Cats Party.' Spine bumped, worn and faded. Corners bumped and worn. Cover edges darkened and covers a little marked. Front and rear joints badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges cracked. One plate is loose and has ragged edges. Foxing and browning especially to prelims. A few light marks otherwise contents generally clean.

Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper.
Large format. Attractive colour pictorial boards and spine with front showing child in Santa suit with teddies by Christmas tree. 8 colour plates and b/w illustrations. 1 b/w illustrations of dogs playing cricket by Wain. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Bottom of board edges rubbed. Small prize plate stuck to front endpaper. Some marks including to endpapers otherwise contents generally clean. All plates present. Pictorial wrapper is edge worn and creased. Large tear between front panel and spine. Tear across spine and onto front panel. A few other smaller edge tears and slight loss to top and bottom of spine. Browned to verso.

Foxing to contents and some light fingering.

Small, blind bookseller's stamp to front endpaper. Endpapers browned. Tissue guard for frontis is detached and browned. Some grubby marks to page margins. Advertising leaflet inserted into book.

B/w illustrations. 192 pages. First story: Stories of Robin Hood by Charles Herbert, features a few times in book. A couple of b/w illustrations by Wain. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Covers grubby with marks. Light scuffing to onlay. Joints cracked. Dated ink inscription to front endpaper (1928). Foxing and a few marks to contents. All plates present.

A Picture Story Book For Little Ones. Large format (10.5 x 8"). Pictorial boards, front shows Grandpa guiding a donkey and cart with three little ones in the cart. First story is "A Windy Day". B/w illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Front free-endpaper removed(?). A piece of white paper has been stuck to the front free-endpaper (covering previous inscription perhaps?). Some grubby fingermarks to page margins.

Spine bumped, wear to cover edges, heavy wear to corners. Covers a bit grubby. Front joint badly cracked showing webbing. Belongs to box completed neatly in pen. Contents are edge browned with a few margin tears and an odd fingermark but generally very good.

Brown cloth spine, brown paperboards. Front cover has vignettes of cats with central pictorial onlay of a cat tailor sewing on a patch. 12 wonderful colour plates and numerous b/w drawings - all of cats! 136 pages plus 4 page publication list. Spine and corners bumped and worn with slight loss of paper covering to lower front corner. Some light wrinkling to paper covering on covers. Name in ink to front pastedown. Foxing and light fingering to contents, light pink stain to inner margin of last plate (affecting the illustration slightly). A very desirable copy of a scarce Wain title. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Small piece torn from top inner corner of half-title. Contents are foxed and browned but generally clean.
