For boys and girls. Pictorial boards showing a boy and girl skating on front and a boy and a girl on spine. Black titles to spine and orange titles to front board. Colour plates plus black and white illustrations. Brazil story is 'The Scallywag Boys'. First story is The Spoil Sport by Avery. 10.25" x 8". Spine bumped with some rubbing to vignette. Wear to corners and cover edges. A few marks and scratches to covers. Pencil writing about contents to front endpaper. Some browning to endpapers, prelims and last couple of pages. Evidence of something having been stuck to rear endpaper. Contents very good.

A chunky volume of stories and rhymes. First story is The Dancing Bear. Covers slightly darkened. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Clear tape stuck to corners. A few hinges cracked. Name in ink to verso of frontis and pencil inscription to verso of title page. Some foxing and an odd mark to contents. All plates present but one is detached and two are partially detached.

Tiny bookseller's sticker to front pastedown. Light browning to endpapers. Just an odd mark and fox spot to contents.

Spine bumped and frayed. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges worn. Front board is scratched and rear board grubby. Some hinges cracked. Inscription to front endpaper plus '1 Hedges' stamped in ink. A second inscription plus name and address in belongs to box. Foxing to endpapers and page edges. Neat colouring to some b/w illustrations.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners, slight loss of surface at ends of spine. Erased writing on front pastedown. Contents lightly browned but clean. Foxing to text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with a few small pieces of loss. Small hole to rear fold. Brown tape stuck to worst tear on verso.
