Stories and verses. Large format. Green cloth spine, front board shows a girl with dolls and a puppy under an umbrella, sheltering from the rain. First story is "Peter's Adventure Under The Sea" by Rutley. Colour and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Small, light damp stain to edge of rear cover. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Some light foxing and fingering, old price in biro to front pastedown.

A Magazine for the Young, new and enlarged series. Cloth spine, pictorial boards with front showing face of little girl in circle to centre surrounded by roses. First story ""Bunty and the Boys". Colour frontis and one other colour plate, b/w illustrations throughout. Binding has been professionally repaired/reinforced with possible new spine and tape to joints (matches yellow paper of endpapers). Foxing and grubby fingermarks to page margins.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Cream cloth, large pictorial onlay to spine and front board, front board shows boy cooking over an open fire whilst girl is passing sticks for fire. First story is 'The Griffins' by Florence Harrison. Colour frontis shows 'The Brownie Gets His Cream'. Colour & b/w illustrations. Boards clean, worn at corners. Name in ink to front pastedown. A few minor foxspots and light marks to margins. Colour plate "She bore away from the danger" has been neatly trimmed away on bottom margin (about an inch missing) but still bears the title of the plate and has a few small closed tears to vertical edge. Pictorial wrapper has neat inscription in ink to front panel, is edge-worn and has loss at edges. Overall, still a decent copy.
